For those who follow along- finished product.
Details: Remington 7600, satin walnut, cal. 30-06 Sprg. Leupold VX-2 1-4x20 scope; Leupold STD rings and STD 1 pc base; Grovtech barrel band/rear stock sling swivel studs.
Bolt shown closed for photo purposes, rifle double checked to make sure it was unloaded.
Odds and ends- hard to see in photo, but filler screws used after removing opens sights. The rifle, scope, rings, base and sling swivel hardware all have something in common-Made in USA.
