A Key Bank in Buffalo "fired" an armed guard a few months back because he intervened in a robbery....even without using his gun. The guy they caught was charged with multiple robberies. Not much good to have an armed guard if they can'take use the gun. A guard without one is little more than a "hostess". Good to see some guards use the weapon they carry for what it was intended. I have closed out as many accounts as I can with Key Bank....mainly for their excessive stupidity.
Don't think so. The robber still had his gun and could have turned around and resumed shooting at any time.
You stop shooting when the threat is down and out. Forget laws that is survival.
