Not safe it has a hole in it
Y'all got some long-ass thumbs to have it in that hole while gripping the mag. Good catch, though. Let's say we fill that hole ...
The orange version is, indeed, ugly as sin, but I kinda like the blued/wood one.
How on earth could that be considered a thumb hole ?If you filled that hole then it would be compliant. However since it has no grip, magazine changes would be extremely difficult.
I wouldn't consider it one but those that know better than us will. How on earth could that be considered a thumb hole ?
Magazine changes should be easy, since you're already holding the magazine. Keep your support hand on the front end and the butt on your shoulder, then release the mage with your strong-hand thumb. If you filled that hole then it would be compliant. The magazine, once inserted, is the grip. As such, you don't have to have a long trigger finger at all (or were you continuing the thumb-in-the-hole discussion?)Gotta have one hell of a long trigger finger just to reach the trigger Although, the ladies would take a liking to ya...
you could then shorten the barrel and call it a pistol if you take the stock off since the mag is "inside" the grip.Magazine changes should be easy, since you're already holding the magazine. Semi-serious question: if you designed a different, less ugly rifle with the same concept -- a magwell with a trigger guard attached, but no pistol grip; the magazine being the de facto grip when inserted -- would that be compliant?
True, but I'm interested in the concept as a rifle (not for any real purpose, but for the thought exercise.)you could then shorten the barrel and call it a pistol if you take the stock off since the mag is "inside" the grip.
Is that what that tab is on the first one? Grinder will take care of that.do I see a bayonet lug? then it's not compliant
In essence, it's halfway between a standard rifle and a bullpup. Instead of putting the action/mag all the way behind the grip, as in a bullpup, the action is over the "grip" (which is the magazine.) You would get something shorter than a standard rifle, but not as short as a bullpup, and probably easier to load than a bullpup.what the actual fuck is that?
Too old. Pretty much everything is 36 (give-or-take) and under, which I am not. Plus, about 30 others reasons ...Wouldn't it just be easier to become a cop and get all the exemptions needed to own anything you want?

I don't think so. It would be easiest to just buy whatever the fuck you want.
Easier to tunnel your way under the wall and escape from this god forsaken state.Wouldn't it just be easier to become a cop and get all the exemptions needed to own anything you want?
takes too much commitment.....Wouldn't it just be easier to become a cop and get all the exemptions needed to own anything you want?
NFW that is a "thumb"hole stock. No...way....Thumbhole stock.
I can agree to that.NFW that is a "thumb"hole stock. No...way....
That is simply a skeletonized stock. After all, if you put your thumb through that stock, there is no anatomical way that a real human could reach the trigger with that hand.
In essence, this is no different in function than something like this:
