Wooden v. United States

No he was convicted of ten different felonies for breaking into a storage place and getting into 10 units. Then they found him with a gun and used the career criminal law to put him away for 14 year longer than he would have gotten if he had only been convicted of one felony.Still trying to figure out the gun part of this .. .. did he point it at the storage lockers .. this is a stick up .. open up . ?? lol
I agree like New Jersey charging you 10 years per hollow point round.Well maybe overzealous prosecutors won’t be able to charge people with murder 1, murder 2, manslaughter 1 and manslaughter 2 for the same crime now. They will only be able to charge a person with what that can prove, not give the jury an option to convict with a fruit salad of lesser charges.
I always thought it was bs you get hit with 14 charges for one act. If you are a homeowner who shoot a perp in your house the should not throw everything in the book at you to see which one the jury likes.
