Setting up the microstamping bill

The Daily News has a most likely ghost-written op-ed calling for the legislature to enact microstamping.

It will effectively block all sales of new pistols as the tech doesn’t work and cannot be implemented.

Current bill numbers are A-7926, which has been on 3rd Reading since January, and S-4116.

Well that's it in a nut shell: just how many legally owned and lawfully possessed Handguns are being used by criminals? Too few to put a negligible number on, and even IF they pass such a Law all it'll do is place prior restraint on those who could lawfully purchase a Handgun in NYS.

No, the legislature is going to keep right on doing what they always have. SCOTUS can rule however they like and Albany will do as they please.
