Several Nassau Co. bills introduced

Several local bills have been introduced to the county legislature in response to the SCOTUS decision:

• Clerk Item 151-22 – Requires NCPD to cross-check the names of individuals who are involuntarily transported to facilities for emergency psychiatric care against the pistol license registry.
• Clerk Item 192-22 – Mandatory firearms storage.
• Clerk Item 193-22 – Legal assistance for filing ERPO.
• Clerk Item 194-22 – Requires gun dealers post signs warning of the dangers of firearms.

These aren’t so bad. Some aren’t even new for most of Nassau county and is already in state law. It’s smoke and mirrors to say they doing “ something “
As far as the sign law for dealers, if I was a dealer, I might put up a counter argument sign next to the required sign-lol
