I tried this. My local PD has a doctor deputized as a swat member and I tried to have my dad see if they would deputize me as well. The doctor just does it because he’s a thrill seeker I just want real guns.

There used to be a few peace officer organizations like society to prevent child abuse or animal abuse— I don’t remember exactly. It was in the CPL that members were given peace officer status and joined just for gun privileges. They have since shut down that loophole

Outside of NOVA the rest of VA is strong conservative. It's a good blueprint to use if it works for other states to circumvent liberal BS.
Would love to see something happen like the Wyoming county(NY) sheriffs deputize any citizens that are interested in a similar manner.
