Shooting Glasses, Red Dots?

For the vision impaired....

Question for the group; do yellow lens work with red dot sights? I'm off for an eye exam and probably a pair of prescription shooting glasses. I know yellow has benefits on the range, but I can't find any info specific to use with red dot sights. Any experience in here?

If they’re just filtering out blue light you should see no issue with seeing the red dot. The problem is mostly that you will have significantly more red and distracting colors in your field of view.

This is just based off what I know from experience with color theory.

You will be fine. I shoot with yellow tinted eye pro all the time, no issues with color contrasts.
