20×102mm Vulcan
Interesting couple of videos on reloading if times get tough.
But being the machinist that you are, I am sure you could make something beautiful and effective.I don't disagree, but this guy shows you what is possible. Would also be possible to reuse components from other unusable rounds to make useable loads using these techniques.
Id be more comfortable shooting my pistol than I would something cobbled together.
I just ordered the primer kit. Someone gave me a 22 reload kit, so this will keep me from having to play with match heads or caps.I've talked about making your own primers in the past. I still have this material and have made my own. They worked well. The only thing is that they are supposedly corrosive (can't confirm because I cleaned my guns immediately) and are very time consuming. But I guess if you need them you'll make the time. If you have the tools, you can make your own bullets. Keep a shit ton of brass and spent primers and this stuff on hand and it takes care of that. The thing I don't think you can get around if it gets really bad is gun powder. I don't know how to make smokeless powder.
