I still prefer the older 228, 229, 239, 220 old school Sigs.
I can't speak for the P365, but I can for the P226 Legion and it's previous and common variants: comparing my "newest" 226 to a NIB 226 Legion, I have to say the (older) one was better, and subjective as that is, I've shot the dog-shit out of the two "older" ones 1990's and 200x and nothing from the Legion...fuckers never did send me the Coin, Range Bag, ammo, and other promotional items they promised.
One a tangent: At the same time I bought the P2206, I also bought a P220 Legion: the guide rod in it was wrong, it was shorter and a different shape, had to buy an aftermarket one, and it was NIB from Gander Outdoors when they were closing up...It was racier that the West German, "Heel Drop" P220 that I've had for decades,.

Probably not worth it. You do t get much more and the gun is double the price and then some. Lots can be done or to buy a better gun from aftermarket companies IMO. The factory custom shops seem overpriced to me.

That's a fair point - even their Custom Shop gets expensive with TiN gold FCU and more... sure looks good though.
I've heard mixed things about the Legion PVD coating - some people say it wears easily but I haven't owned one so can't say for myself.
