Raven Concealment Systems Announces Perun Holster - Soldier Systems Daily

Raven Concealment Systems has given first look at their new strong-side outside-the-waistband (OWB) holster to SSD. It is called the Perun, named after the Slavic war god.

The holster can be described as the best features of the Eidolon holster body merged with the body-hugging strong-side profile of the Phantom.

I've tried several different holsters over the years, but I don't think I've tried a Raven Phantom as it always seemed too bulky. I like the look of the new one (right-most in the first picture on the site above); and for a price of ~$35 seems like a great deal. My only concern is 'injected molded' is sometimes considered weaker than traditional Kydex, but maybe they have a 'special blend' to combat that.

I'll probably preorder the 1911 version and keep an eye out for the M&P fullsize one.

Holsters - Perun Modular Holster - Raven Concealment Systems

Sales are live, but only for Glocks at this time. When they come out with a model for the M&P 9 I'll probably grab one at that price, hard to beat.
