This was listed in an earlier FS post, but the buyer could not come up with funds to purchase. This is a great deal on a beautiful and well-built 357mag.


I have for sale a Ruger SP101 357 mag/38spl+P 5 shot revolver in excellent pre-owned condition. Could pass as new, no markings on stainless finish, shiny barrel, like new grips. One of Ruger's great revolvers, built like a tank and will last a lifetime. Will handle any factory 357magnum load and +P 38spl. Good balance and feel with this revolver. Small enough to conceal. Asking $465. NICS done at dutchess county FFL. Will ship for $25. Any reasonable offer will be considered. The discoloration in the grip bottom is not noticeable in regular lighting, brought out by flash.

Ahh, nice! I still have mine, - it was my first CCW carry gun. Added a CTC laser grip to mine, and still carry it regularly.

That is correct, and quite customary, and in fact legally required.

I may be mistaken, but I dont think it is legally required to charge someone for a transfer.. Any firearm I ever bought from an FFL, I never paid anything additional other than the price of the item and the tax..

SAFE requires the fee. But I have usually seen it built into the firearm.
But at least he's upfront about it.

I am just glad that on this site we can ask questions or even have a conversation in a for sale thread. The other place, you couldn't even ask a question for clarification.
