When you think about it. All actors are just puppets. They are given lines to say and roles to play. Nothing is really their own genuine thoughts. I don't care or believe what they say when it comes to real life because they are not living a "real" life like the rest of us.
"We like you because of your ability to be anyone other than what you really are. We pay you with money left over from our own successes. But by all means, tell us how you are better than everyone, and that we're wrong about everything."
"Call 911! We need an actor here! NOW!" said nobody, ever.
Actors are people too. They can have differing beliefs and political philosophies. I have no problem with that. What I have a problem with is them using their "celebrity" as a platform to tell me that my beliefs and political philosophy are wrong and that I'm a horrible person for that. Sorry, I don't have the same platform as you so I can't reach the same numbers and audience. So when you start to lecture me about my so-called "privilege" take a long hard look at yourself and your actual privilege and kindly shut the fuck the up.
Pretty much done! In the last 10 years, I have only been to a handful of movies, and then it only because my kids begged me to take them. Screw Hollywood!
