Any suggestions for the pistol hanging rods? I don’t like how they sit so far back. I have to bend down to line up the barrel to the rod. I’d rather have them further back towards the lip of the shelf.

When I finally get around to getting a traditional AK I will give this mount a very serious consideration.
I like these type of cantilever mounts, they seem lighter and simpler than side mount rails.
