New shoes for my 686. I've had the Pachmayr Presentation grips on it since I bought it new in 1986. I still have the original wood checkered grips it came with. Just wanted to get something different. It'll match better with my incoming 629 with the factory medallioned Hogue grips.

Welppp, finished installing the wood accent wall. Making all the cutouts, especially for the outlets with just a circular saw wasn’t the most fun I’ve ever had. I still have to do the molding but I think it came out pretty decent. It’s time for a beer or two, or three, or...

Good place to go. Most big box store safes are not as secure as the high end safes on the market. That being said almost all gun safes are not to difficult to breach with time and tools. Like anything they keep the less than truly motivated out. The price point on Tractor Supply safes is usually good, better than most other box stores. I have bought all of mine at Tractor Supply as I feel they provide the amount of security that I require. Runnings also has a good supply of reasonably priced gun safes as well.

Finally found a good condition M1 Carbine, at a reasonable price. Came with 2 mags to boot.
Picked it up yesterday, hoping to hit the range with it tomorrow, rounds were reasonably priced for the times btw whats normal prices for a box of .30 50 rd box I paid 35.
