I have a golden color hen a friend gave me, it will be two this next spring. I get about 5 eggs a week out of her.
Spring time I bought 3 Rhode Island Reds, 3 Black sex-inks and 3 Golden sex-links.
A few are laying really small eggs, it they don't start getting bigger we will be having chicken for dinner.
A friend had a hen eating his eggs. I told him to pick up a piece of round chalk, throw it in the next box.
The chicken with blue around the beak needs to be eliminated.
I had that problem one time, easy fix.
One of my friends mother had that egg eating problem, she sat in the chicken coop for days watching them chickens to catch the bright one.

I went to Cabelas and picked up 500 - 38 projectiles. 158 grain soft point, flat nosed.
My grandson shoot a hundred 357 bullets every time out. I want to.make up more test bullets for my Ruger 77/357.
I just ordered a set of RCBS 22 Hornet dies from e bay. $25 shipped.
I need to get RCBS 30 caliber Carbine
RCBS 243 WINCHESTER and three sets of 44spl/44mag dies so I can have a set up for 44spl with a crimp die and a set up for 44magnum.
I have a butt load of RCBS 38/357 dies. So I have extra seater dies and crimp dies for both calibers.
I love the Hornady Lock N Load system.

I have a Char-Griller drum smoker and a Cabela's 7 in 1 Smoker (MasterBuilt) and now I just picked-up a MasterBuilt 135 Electric Smoker at Walmart on clearance from $224.00 for $169.00! Been wanting one of these for awhile! A lot less work as Ron Popeil say's set it and forget it! I could have gotten the one with out the window for $99.00 but I like the window better!!
If you dont mind me asking how much? I'm on the fence to build one myself or buy it in the spring.

We have no roosters at either the Farm or at home.
We do not want fertilized eggs, nor do we want the constant crowing so we culled them once they started.
That and some roosters can be very aggressive.
Just depends on your location and needs.
Chickens are not too noisy. The do sing their egg laying song to brag but its not annoying. The neighbors have not complained.
They start laying at 6-8 months and go for 2-3 yrs then its soup time.
Picked these up Friday. 6 clear mags one black and two triple mag couplers with cases for attaching to a belt. Tested them out today by ripping a 100 rounds through my 10/22.
I need a shed as well. When we bought the house 2 years ago it came with one, but when we did our walk through they had so much shit in it you couldn’t really see inside. Then we moved into the house and went to go put stuff inside the Shed and it was full of black mold, so I used the sawzall and cut that bitch down, now my garage is over flowing. Your new one looks like a good size, how big? Did you pick out how you wanted it and they built it?

10x20. They had a basic plan, I chose the options that I wanted. I stayed pretty basic. Just a building to keep my toys out if the weather.

So I finally got a Glock 19 today. Gen 4. Won't bother with a picture since we all know what they look like. Think i will use it for 3gun on Saturday.

I picked up 500 lazer cast 38 caliber projectiles Saturday afternoon and loaded 100 38spl cartridges so I could take my grandson shootig Sunday morning.
Cabelas had a shitty ass supply of bullets Saturday. I didn't feel good so far I wasn't into driving another 30 miles plus one way for decent bullets.

How old is your grandson? Always awesome when someone older takes another younger family member or kid shooting/fishing. My first son just turned 1. Not that I want to rush his childhood, but I look forward to the daddy and son time. Glad you still get out with the grandkids!

He turned 7 on June 21st. I started him out on a red Ryder BB Gun when he was 4. I had to clck it for him.
Once he got that down I let him shoot the Gamo pellet gun with the scope. I had to pull the barrel down, put the pelletin the barrel and close the barrel up for him. Once he got that down I started him out on a old single-shot 22lr. All before he turned five.
Now he does everything on his own. From the BB Guns, pellet gun, all of the 22 rifles, the 222 remington 700, the 223 Remington 700, all of the 410 shotguns, all of the 22 handguns and 38/357 magnum revolvers. I don't have to cater to him anymore. I take him out every weekend. Once the rain starts out here our shooting will be cut way down. So we will do a lot of gun strip down, total clean & lube and reassemble.
Then I have a butt load of brass to reload.
So we can stay active in the gun circuit.
I can take off with him at 8am on a Saturday or Sunday morning and be out shooting all day up til dark, not once has he asked to go home.
A few weeks ago we took off Saturday afternoon and spent the night out in the mountains and went home Sunday afternoon.
I'd bet any of my friends a $1 a shot against him with the handguns. He does good with the watered down 38spl & the watered down 357mag revolvers.
I keep them down to around 800 feet per scond with a 158 grain projectile with Clays or Trail Boss powder.

Yeah, I mean for a chain they are fine.
Just not as good as the local places I knew back home. Weekend before last I visited Me mum, had some Stevie Vs actually. Ooh that sweet sauce! Grabbed some Mighty, had the best peanut butter ice cream I have ever had in my life at Lake Effect. Man Lockport has great eats!
I haven't had good pizza since i moved to the north country.... or sushi... Still even with giving those two things up my life is much improved moving up here.
Try or Liola's or Stephano's in Carthage. Liola's is the better of the two IMO but they are both good.
