Dumbass with a gun on a military base? (Army Nat Guard) I would have thought the bad guy would be prosecuted with extreme prejudice, and his whereabouts covered by the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

the guard is under the State unless the Fed Gov calls for them or some BS like that .. its not a "regular army" base with MP's why the local cops had to deal with the asshole ..
