But on this topic they have badly missed the mark. That is quite the about face. In fact, that kind of a reversal is one that damages the credibility of the site. I did not see that. Good for him. However, how does he know the people he relied on regarding the new theory are any more credible? If I were him I would apply a large amount of skepticism on the new sources, particularly since the story is now the complete opposite of what was predicted only a short time ago. A certain reticence is in order. Just my 2 cents.

There is a difference between predictions, making inferences based on observations, and reporting, I'm willing to cut the first two more slack, especially they're going to own up to being wrong. I trust CTH's predictions more than I trust MSM reporting.

I still can't get over, or understand why, the commie Dems, the establishment Republicans, the neo-cons, the globalists, etc all got in lock-step support for Ukraine overnight. I've never seen all these groups agree on something so quickly. And it's not just because Putin is mean.

Putin didn't fear Ukraine joining NATO because it was a threat to Russia. He feared it because it would close his window to recapture them.

He believed he needed to move now, or he'd never be able to take it.

There is some validity to the China/North Korea comparison, but Ukraine was no where near being a nearly vassal state the way North Korea was.

Even if they never joined Nato, Ukraine was becoming much more friendly with the west. They were hardly the same sort of buffer that NK is.
