@Dr. Evil and @stokes, in regards to your 'agreed to disagree' conversation, my optimistic take on the Trump win and continued winning is this. Trump's cabinet appointees, save Matt Gaetz, are all being confirmed. In light of all the DOGE enlightened findings, I fully expected more push back from the RINO's and career Republicans on the appointee confirmations.

The fact that virtually all are being confirmed gives me a huge amount of joy and optimism going forward. I was somewhat expecting the slight to marginal majorities in both Houses to go the way Pence did in January of 2021.

So yes, I'm encouraged, a lot.

I want to see Kash confirmed tomorrow and I'll do cartwheels. IMO he's the last big piece of the puzzle.

I dont consider it a "disagree" thing, I'm just not as excited about the lawsuit angle as he and others here are. Not that I think its a bad thing, the lawsuits that is, just dont think it will mean a whole lot, in the end. In my view these lawsuits are not even a speed bump to Horechul and her dirtbag crew. They will never agree to any out of court settlement, which is quite common when the state is sued, and they will just drag it out til Trump is out of office and beyond. The state will foot the legal fees, and none of it will impact them in the pocket. Indictments are the only thing that will wake them up.

Trump 45 and Obama waited 97 and 98 days for their cabinet confirmations. I can only wonder how many dirty "bipartisan" deals are being hammered out in that time. This shit should only take 24 hours, and Congress shouldn't find out who the nominee is until the morning of.

Reducing water consumption makes sense in the desert where it is scarce (OfC, government mandates are not the way to go about that. Just allow the market to set a realistic price for water and the problem solves itself).

In NY on the other hand, we had more trouble getting rid of water than finding it.

When your backyard floods 2 feet deep every spring, you don't really need to "conserve" water at all. And water is the ultimate renewable resource anyway. Very nearly 100% of it is recycled naturally.

So the problem is that they want me to have a tankless hot water heater that is highly efficient. Mine is 98.5% efficient and condensing. The air coming out of the exhaust is barely even noticeable and warm at best. So why don’t these two things work together? The flow restrictor takes the water demand for the tankless system so low that it barely kicks on the element that causes it to fire and heat the water. This is totally ridiculous because if it didn’t give me a problem I would have kept the flow restrictor in place.
