Smile you son of a bitch!
There is something definately wrong with you then. I suggest hours and hours of range therapy until you get well.I have shot a few of them. Again, nice gun, but little want.
Not taking anything away from what they are and their history. Just never rang my bell.

You are in denial therefore you still need hours and hours of range therapy. I will get doc to write you a prescription.Don't take it the wrong way, They are great rifles. The look, the feel; it all comes together.
Well once upon a time you could get them for 100 bucks.Always was interested but way the hell over priced.

Yeah I think the cheapest you can get one from the CMP now is around 750.At those kinds of prices, I may have bought one.

Yup about the time a BJ cost me $5 in TimeSquare!
But he was good...all that matters!I think that guy still works the Port Authority bathroom in Times Square if you want another
I got one for my boy and I ( mine from the south store and his from the north store) in 2012. In 2015 I brought my daughter to the north store and asked if she wanted one or if she wanted one of the eight M1 carbines that were in the racks at the time. She didn't want either, I should have bought a M1 carbine anyway. It is rare you see them in the CMP stores. I doubt I will ever see one there again.
Yeah I was thinking I really didn't want to add another caliber to the reloading bench when I didn't buy one of the carbines. If my daughter had wanted it I would have got her one but, I really didn't want one. I shoot my Garand every week in the summer during the military league shoots at my club. Other than that it doesn't get shot a lot.I am kicking myself for not getting M1 carbine and a few Springfields from the CMP. I didn't think they are going to run out. I don't shoot vintage rifles, but I love to own them. I visit North store every year when I go to Nationals. My last purchase from CMP was new in the box Daisy 853 air rifle for $200.00. They also sell used reconditioned for around $100.00. They were overruns from JROTC or ROTC marksmanship training program. With simple trigger modification and refinishing of the stock it can become a sweet target air rifle. Great training tool for offhand shooting and fun to shoot. I shoot it 2-3 times a week in my basement.
I'd love to have a garand one day, so many guns so little money.
