The mood in the Washington press corps is bleak, and deservedly so.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that, with a few exceptions, we were all tacitly or explicitly #WithHer, which has led to a certain anguish in the face of Donald Trump’s victory. More than that and more importantly, we also missed the story, after having spent months mocking the people who had a better sense of what was going on.

Dear Media: No one cared what you thought

If anyone aside from Hillary herself woke up the morning after election day in utter shock, it had to be the fearless purveyors of propaganda known as the news media, who suddenly realized in a state of utter shock: No one listens to us.

And it’s true. The most amazing thing about Tuesday’s Trump victory is that it came amidst a total media blitzkrieg against the man.

Abandon the normal practice of objectivity…
And we’re not just talking here about the usual liberal bias in the media, nor even about a somewhat heightened level of bias. We’re talking about extraordinary measures the media made no effort to hide.

We can start with a front-page op-ed written Aug. 7 in the New York Times by Jim Rutenberg, in which he openly called on journalists to abandon the normal practice of objectivity and become openly oppositional in their coverage of Trump. As if they needed the encouragement. They didn’t, of course, but they don’t usually admit on the front page of the New York Times that this is what they’re doing.

Trumps voctory showed a lot of things,
1. we are sick of the clintons and just want them to go away
2. we are not told by the MSM what to do even when they tell us the world will end if trump wins
3. we would have voted for anyone who was not a carrer politician and had some really good ideas
4. finally it showed the "elite class" that americans are sick and tired of being told what to do!!!!

The members of our media still do not get it.

They still do not understand a Trump supporter. They have no clue as too how this happened. They do not understand that this was not just a vote for Mr. Trump. This was an election and a vote for so much more than the Trump.

This election was about The People of the United States. The People are bigger than the Office, bigger than the media elite and much, much bigger than a few Politicians and Elected Officials.

Until they understand this, they will continue to fail.
