Yes. Because all she does is Facebook and Snapchat.

I guess. Or they'll end up paying the same but now can't research what they saw on Facebook if one of us responds to their post saying they are full of shit. And those people would save money if what you think will happen.
Or, as I said in my OP, too much BS to make a determination.ok, what the hell are we really arguing about here then?
is it still about the price or cost?
Look we can argue all day long, the only thing that will tell anyone whether NN is good or bad, at this point, is time
Why can't they use alternate sites?I guess. Or they'll end up paying the same but now can't research what they saw on Facebook if one of us responds to their post saying they are full of shit.
Why can't they use alternate sites?
Or do you simply not understand how the Internet works?
That's a terrible analogy. How about you want a non stop flight, you pay for it. I can't afford to fly non stop, I take a flight with a layover and get there slower. I want fast internet, I pay for the top tier speed. I'm a business, I pay for the ultra top tier speeds for businesses. I can't afford top tier speed internet, I pay for dial-up speed. But I get to the same place.Other than the Military, name one thing the Government runs well or has created or invented. I group NASA with military.
Net Neutrality regulates "the Internet" with Government and not the market. Chuck Schumer makes the decisions instead of customers.
Besides if Chuck Schumer is for it that has got to tell you something.
The name is just like the SAFE Act a candy wrapper to fool the simple minded.
Here is my analogy. Both you and I want to go to Las Vegas for a Shot Show.
We explore the transportation options, based on the economics or market.
I take a 10am flight and arrive at Noon. You take the "red eye" and have one stop along the way and have a two hour stop over. You arrive many hours later.
I paid more than you did but also arrived sooner and with less aggravation.
You arrived all tire haggard and spent way to much on airport cocktails and you are pissed that I got there before you.
Now You want Airline Neutrality and you want the Government to make sure that "everybody" gets equal airline service.
More lowest common denominator bullshit by liberals like common core.
You want faster INTERNET or a faster car or sneakers that make you run faster? Then you should either work for them, or save money for them or give up something else for them. If I want faster Internet I will purchase it.
That is so called Net Neutrality. Kind a like I have to work and pay for my cell phone, Others get free phones form the Government.
I did. Look up above. It may be a page back.Do you believe they should give people in first class extra attention and give them priority with drinks, blankets, headphones, etc?
I'm not sure if you ever answered my question about this. What's wrong with an ISP prioritizing traffic from a hospital that is doing remote surgery? They shouldn't be allowed to do this?
That I don't agree with. But if it's one or the other, I'd rather have the full internet.
That's the wrong quote. See my edit above. I'm ignoring the stupid comment.Found it
So, you're willing to put people's lives at risk to make sure people can post shitty lolcat memes on Facebook at the same priority as a doctor performing surgery?
Are you saying that a hospital wouldn't be able to send an email or look something up because they will be blocked by someone posting a meme on Nygunforum in Darth's Random Thought of The Day or watching a video on pornhub? They are going to get locked out from sending an email out?Speed isn't the same thing as priority.

Remember folks, this post was about government relinquishing control of data.
Meth. Not even once.
Let's give cops full auto rifles and leave us with semi auto rifles while we are at it. They have priority.
We're losing her!

So are they struggling now where changes have to be made where Darth is going to have to pay 20 bucks more a month to post his nonsense on the rainbow 6 thread?I'm saying that ISPs have a finite amount of throughput. They can only transmit X amount of data per second. Computer networks use a FIFO (first in first out) method for routing packets. Priority routing moves certain packets to the front of the line. This doesn't necessarily increase bandwidth, but it does decrease latency. It's possible that the surgeons traffic gets lower throughput or gets choppier/whatever because of @Darth posting all his lolcat memes.
Let's give cops full auto rifles and leave us with semi auto rifles while we are at it. They have priority.
Fair enough. Let's not derail this one.I'd be happy to bring in constitutional rights and bring free speech into this, but I don't think you want to go there.
You know what would happen if I had to?So are they struggling now where changes have to be made where Darth is going to have to pay 20 bucks more a month to post his nonsense on the rainbow 6 thread?
If Darth pays that extra 20 bucks, will the hospital that isn't struggling now struggle even less?
You know what would happen if I had to?
Nothing.I'd probably pay the $20, I love me some R6.
Would you? Probably not.
Why? Because you sound like a whiny, entitled bitch in this thread, and I mean that in the best manner possible.
You are upset that a convince may or may not go up in price. Probably not.
