Pin the magazine so it isnt detachable
100% only way to have a threaded barrel is having either non semi auto or non detachable magazine
Or just get the SP-01 it's the same thing just in black and no suppressor sights and threaded barrel. And if you want you can buy suppressor sights, hell you can get it cerakoted
Or
Buy both the tactical UG and a normal barrel both shipped to ffl (or bring the barrel with you) and have the ffl change it out and then leave the barrel behind (or see if they will sell it or hold it while you sell it or never put it back in the gun while In NY)
Or least best option have them weld thread protector on the barrel
