Tractor Supply has metal .50 cal. cans for $6.39 and .30 cal. cans for $7+? These are NOT US surplus.
You dont like all this surfake? Are they US manufactured? The newer offshore manufactured cans are not as good as the OEM MilSpec type. US manufactured and and some Canadian manufactured cans I've picked up over the years are decently built and durable.
I miss the golden era of military surplus when you could get real USGI surplus cans...............
Many moons ago the wife and I were in Hawaii visiting my sister (USAF); local hardware store had .30 cans in pristine condition at $2/can. I picked up four. Wife was like how are you getting them home? I packed my dirty laundry and everything else into those cans. My luggage weighed 70.0000001 pounds. United let it slide. This was pre-TSA days when they weren't as anal retentive. Still in service 30 years later, and I did take my dirty laundry out.You dont like all this surfake?
