Troopers arrest 2 misunderstood men on weapons charges in Ontario County

On April 22 at approximately 10:00 p.m., the New York State Police in Canandaigua arrested 19 year old Christopher Koons-Ford of Rochester and 24 year old Devon Madison of Henrietta for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree resulting from a traffic stop on Rt. 332 in the town of Farmington.
Troopers stopped the vehicle for an inadequate headlight and loud muffler and detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in a loaded Jennings .22 pistol and 3 rounds found underneath the front passenger seat. Neither suspect possessed a pistol permit

No offense but I gotta ask, what are the point of these threads other than to say, " Stupid is what stupid does."

We aren't learning anything from them. The circumstances of the arrests aren't different for us to have to take notice. All they always are is someone getting arrested in a car with drugs and guns.

They are posted. 3 or 4 people say the obligatory stupid is what stupid does and a misunderstood Obama's son comment and then it dies.

Maybe I'm just being cranky. I don't know.

Do we really need to have a reason? Sure it would be nice but this is real life and some of us have time to kill and are bored, if something gets posted we comment just like you did.

They sound like idiots....but... they are getting arrested for possession of a pistol without a permit. I still support Constitutional carry. We shouldn't need permission from the state to possess pistols. I'm trying to not be hypocritical.
