Early in Trumps campaign Hi court Justice Ginsburg made some very negative comments about him.
She a gun-grabbing liberal and bias against Trump. This will help our cause for gun rights movement.

When there is another AWB or other gun right challenge brought before the SCOTUS. Ginsburg may recuse herself cause trump is "Pro-gun" and she hates him. If a pro 2nd Amend. Justice is appointed, that leaves a 5 to 3 lean for gun rights.

I mean why wouldn't the Fed recognize 2A fundamentals when something that is not a Right is given the same lea way. States have established the precedent of relinquishing their Sovereignty in this regard by accepting Drivers and Vehicles, certified, registered, inspected and insured in foreign States and jurisdictions, may enter freely and use their roads, streets, etc., and it is not a Right to do so. Add to it, foreign States have different criteria for vehicles, driver licenses and such limits the argument that some states do not adhere to another's 2A CCW laws. Hmmmmmm... Federal Law enacted to create a level playing field across state lines for those licensed within their State of Residence would be a major leap, but I say go for it. Just for the fact of watching the Progressive's lose their minds would be priceless. And then there'd be no more of those NJ incidents while traveling through, NYC, Cali, Mass, would all be fucked!

The age of the justices is high. Even with advances in medical science they can't last forever. RBG has got to be net to either retire or shuffle off this mortal coil. Hopefully Breyer is the same way. Talk is that Kennedy and Thomas are thinking about retirement, though them leaving will mostly be a wash (especially for Thomas) since technically as "conservative justices" they should be on our side so to speak . This gives Trump the possibility of appointing 4 nominees. If they can all be strict Constructionalists like Scalia (wishful thinking I know) then we'll be in damn good shape to take on anything that comes our way.

No way will she recuse her self. She will dig her heals in and try to do everything she can to oppose trump, but certainly not set aside. Well unless she goes to see Scalia.

Trump can also appoint Federal district judges. That may help us.

Trump is Pro 2nd because he has to be. Smart political move on his part, his cabinet will consist of conservatives, moderates, and rinos and it will be a give and take deal to make everyone happy and heal the party after a divisive primary . On guns, he will move far right, education to the center, justices center right, lgbt and social issues center left, healthcare center left, military far right.

it will be a juggling act just like every Republican office holder.
