No idea if any truth to it but I've seen it mentioned on another forum that PACOM has put all future leaves on hold.

That seems rather ominous...

Hope it turns out to be false.

South Korea’s Ministry of Defense estimates that its northern neighbor has between 2,500 and 5,000 metric tons of chemical weapons, including sarin and VX nerve agents. (Sarin is thought to be the chemical agent used in the Assad’s regime’s recent attack in Syria, which killed 72 people and left children gasping for breath as they choked on the poisonous gas.)

Should North Korea attack, it might use chemical weapons early on in South Korea’s urban areas to increase the death toll. At the same time, conventional munitions could rain down on the South. After that barrage, North Korea’s 200,000-strong special operations forces should have an easier time arriving via tunnels, mini-submarines, or Russian biplanes. Surely Pyongyang would find a way to employ its growing cyber capabilities, too, because why not?

I suspect nobody in the North Korean military leadership is there because they take initiative.

The only way for this not to turn into a massive humanitarian disaster is to instantly and completely decapitate N Korean leadership. Destroy anyone who could give the order to launch any of that stuff before they know what's happening.

This would be EOD on a national scale.....

If you have time to kill and are bored, start looking up the theories on NK sleeper agents. allegedly they had a massive department of highly trained spies and their special ops types infiltrated all over including here in the US. the story goes if there is ever a war that breaks out they already have pre assigned targets to launch coordinated attacks against (nuclear power plants, release various nerve/chem/bio agents etc) it's actually a major threat. Not long ago maybe a few months or year NK sent out a broadcadt coded message to their sleeper agents but no one knows what was in it.

Even farther down the rabbit hole, the rumors are NK sent a bunch of honey pots over to literally seduce connected Americans get pregnant and then have little minions of naturalized American citizens who are sleeper agents.
