Why bigger isn’t better for Trump’s ‘Golden Fleet’ of battleships

"Experts" have declared the age of the Battleship died with WWII. Maybe....

But Trump is saying that to field the latest generation of weapons, including Railguns, Lasers, and Hypersonics, a substantial platform is required. With a nuclear reactor or two to power them.

Otherwise these "Superweapons" will remain earthbound and have limited deployment opportunities.

I keep an open mind about this. Experts are often wrong. Or right ... for the time at hand. But times change. It may be the right time for Battleships to once again rule the earth and sea.
