LOL, I literally just finished watching this on TCN and came to check out the Treehouse before turning in. I wish everyone who is freaking out over tariffs would take the time to listen to this interview. Lighthizer has the ability to frame Trump’s economic plan so that just about anyone can understand. The trade deficit is the result of offshoring manufacturing and tariffs will serve to bring it back and restore a robust middle class. This is fundamental to MAGA along with collapsing the bureaucracy and neutralizing the fourth branch. If only we had a media that reported the truth instead of fear mongering and propagandizing, people would calm down and get behind this.

So people aren't calming down. No matter how often you try to tell them that this will strengthen America all they reply with is "in the mean time PEOPLE WILL DIE!!!" Over and over again, like a litany.
