when thier are states making what ever they like illegal this law does nothing really. free states get to save $200 that I'm sure the suppressor manufacturers will tack on to there profit margins.

Even if it passed, NYS would still have them banned as a feature on the grounds of it being used for "assassinations" or assaults or something retarded like that.

In the grand tradition of coming up with cute names for bills, they should call it the "Harley Law", as running with straight pipes generally gets you a lot of unwanted attention in some places; this is no different. It's for the children('s hearing protection).
