US Agency Reportedly Plans to Shut Down 8,000 EV Chargers, Offload EVs
The General Services Administration says the chargers are 'not mission critical.'

Fantastic. They should sell the cars immediately before they lose more value. Chargers are stupid and that money has been burned already with no return.
On top of that, I've read it in a few places that the life span of the copper in them is very short - stolen as quick as possible and off to the metal recycling place.
The company I work for used to install EV chargers, and up to two weeks ago, we do not no longer due to all of the politics and nonsense.
There are a few outstanding contacts that fell in and the company is now proceeding to lawyering up to sue or get them to pay something.
Funny this happens, almost like my company knew this was going to happen two weeks ago.
Been seeing a lot of car companies flat out struggling on charging standards and keeping people happy. Hard to keep them happy when places are pulling the plug.
During December we got two contracts to yank a 6 vehicle and a 4 vehicle EV charger due to issues. Was not related to copper theft, but rather too many issues with the stations themselves. Can't make money when the chargers don't function correctly and people asking for refunds/complaints.
Can't go into too much info, but that summarizes it.
Sigh... I just like pulling my diesel truck up to the hiflo truck pump, and fill up in less than 5 minutes and get 1,000+ mile range. I could never go back to gas nor even think about EV. Plus I don't mind having all that diesel, because it's much safer to transport.
Had 1 diesel in my life, when I lived in Kenya.
A Toyota Land Cruiser HJ-47 Super Long Wheel Base "Troopie" - best damn vehicle I ever owned.
Looked like this one - same baby shit green/brown - disappeared in the bush. More tricked out for serious off-road driving. The one below is a stock HJ-45 I believe, but it appears identical.
Had a 3.6 liter, in line, diesel. A beast.
