I thought I’d share this and give people some facts. There is a large contingent of people saying all the violence is far-right Trump agitators and what not. So this article says they sympathize with BLM so keep that in mind. They essentially say they are biased to their cause. That’s ok because the results should mean more.
they say in the opening statement 93% of protests are peaceful and there are 7,750 protests. That means 7% are violent. They also claim that about 100 turned violent far-left or far-right actors or agitators. Assuming all of that 1.25% were caused by far-right actors that leaves 5.75% of the violence at the feet of BLM protestors about 4.5% higher than far-right actors assuming they were the cause of 100% of that violence. We know they weren’t so we can split that to .65% each side. That would mean BLM actors are nearly 10 times more likely to cause violence.
