My opening morning for walleye went pretty well.
I was on Fish Creek in Blossvale.
The way it was fighting, I thought I had a smallmouth on.
Instead I landed a 21” Brown Trout.
The landowner said they haven’t caught any trout there in several years and never one that big.
I’ve been fishing there for almost 20 years and I’ve never caught a trout up there so it was pretty fun to catch one.
Oh, I also managed to bring home my limit of walleye.
