Nice, but she's missing one point.
The anti's argument against lawful gun ownership is that perps can get the gun away from the lawful owner. Whether through a struggle, or outright theft, these anti's believe that possession of a gun puts you at greater risk.
Their misguided belief is that if they somehow prevent ANY lawful gun ownership then, by process of the trickle down theory, perps will not have guns they could get illegally.
They honestly do not care if a 150lb college sophomore is raped by a 250lb guy. Their neurosis, their irrational fear, of guns trumps any other possible bad outcome.
Until it is THEIR daughter that is raped. Then they cry out to the government and say "why didn't you protect my daughter with your guns?". "You police officers, whom we've demonized and called murderers, why aren't you protecting US with your guns?"
The illogic...the hypocrisy... I truly feel these people need professional counseling.
