What company for slide work?

I would like to get a slide modified and cut for an optic. Has any one had good experiences with any specific company?

What handgun? I'm guessing glock?

Had 2 done by Jagerwerks. Couldn't be happier.

Have one out to ATEI. Should be back any day now. Expecting good things but I'll have to let you know once I get it back.

My brother had his Glock 17 slide cut for his vortex venom and nitride finished by jagerwerks when they had their black Friday sale. Looks Great

Good thread as Ive been looking into this too. Im looking to pick up a G34 and Ill need to send it out for my holosun 507c, just waiting to sell my g21 first.

And since the OP I picked up a Glock MOS. Weird timing.... I know they are not as good as having the slide milled but it was a good deal.

MOS itself isn't necessarily a bad option..

It's the plates glock makes that are complete shit..

At a minimum buy either an adapter plate from either

Forward Control Designs

Or

C&H Precision Weapons..


A better option is to send the MOS slide to Agency Arms and have them mill it for their AOS

Going to be picking up a Holosun 507c next week and then I’ll be contacting ATEI to have my compact M&P shield milled. The only thing that I ‘m not sure on is if wether or not I should go with supressor sights on such a short barreled gun. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Sometimes, depending on how deep the slide is milled, your factory height sights might give you a co witness. If you have the ability to change your sights yourself, then I would wait until after you mounted the optic.
