I actually "owned" it twice. It was called "The Baby".

Got it from a friend; FN-Fal, 16" barrel, flash hider, all original FN. Accurate and and super reliable. We "bought" it back and forth 3 times as laws and tastes changed. Until he moved to VT!!

Last time I asked about it, he told me to fuck off. Loved that gun.

Other than that, an SR-25.

Yea, that's OK though if that is what they really think is unobtainable, I was really thinking more along the line of something like the Pancor Jackhammer which is number two on my list.


And number three is the Walther WA 2000 which also counts as my 'If I win the lotto gun'.

a flint lock in top and fully working condition, authenticated to have been owned by anyone of the famous pirates. Calico Jack would be awesome considering his flag is what most identify as a pirate flag. Black Beard pistol would be pretty high on the cool factor. Considering i don't believe any are known to exist they truly are unobtainable.

I will go at this somewhat askew of the above requirement because I never wanted a gun that never left the drawing board (why would I want something that does not exist unless fantasizing) and I cannot think of one I want that is so rare there are only a few. I will be a bit more practical and go at this by saying I would love to own a Remington Model 8 in 35 REM. I like the fact one or more were used to terminate the violent criminal careers and worthless lives of Bonnie & Clyde. Other than that, I like the idea of having a semi-auto rifle in 35 REM. While the Remington Model 8 is not extremely rare, they certainly are not easy to find in G-VG condition or better. In fact, on and off, I have been looking for one for several years now. There have been at least a couple to few factors that have prevented me from picking up a decent one. First of all, I have not seen them all that often at gun shows - over the past 8 to 12 years or so. I have seen some of them but most were not in 35 REM. Of the ones I have seen in 35 REM, only about two or three at the most were in acceptable condition, in my opinion. Of course, when I saw them, I did not have enough cash to lay it out then and then. Once I had enough with me but hesitated because it was pretty high priced, well above what I planned to pay, and I never saw that one again (also never saw the same dealer at subsequent shows). In other words, I have never been in the right place at the right time along with the right gun being there concurrently with me while I had a pocket full of cash to readily cover the expense without breaking me. So, that is my unobtainable firearm. I may settle for a Remington Model 81 in the near future if I can get it at a good price.

Keep watching on GB and there are good ones to be found. My cousin needed money and sold me a very nice one in 35 Remington at a good price before UNSAFE. For everyone else, the Model 8/81 is a John Browning design and the Russian tanker guy (AK47) stole the safety level arm idea from JB here and I am the only person that may of noticed.

Cool is finding some stripper clips for this gun and I got two of them.

Full auto Thompson is what I would want. The semi only models are as lame as a 22 rifle and not worth having plus they are now banned by UNSAFE so another FUAC.

Oh yeah, there a any number of SMGs that would be a blast to own. I had the chance to shoot a pretty wide variety of sub guns years ago including Uzis, MP5s, a Bizon ect. My favorite of the lot, and among my unobtainable list, is the Sterling Submachine Gun. Add a Bren Gun to the list as well. I'm fond of British guns in general actually.

So this must be a very well perfected design as once in a long time ago, the Ranger Regiment Recon Team (not sure why they have them and where they come from) got attached to my team for an exercise and they had their point man with a suppressed model while SF had no suppressed weapons at the time at all (1992), their five guys attached to ours to do a recon mission. We did some range work earlier in the week and it was very quiet when they fired it. However on the big exercise, as an recon element by themselves to cooperate with our guys, produced no intel and the Captain had to go in their ass as ineffective. So freaking funny to me as Captain was a ranger also, chewed their ass up over the radio when they had nothing. Captain still is on active duty today as a 3 star however. Some get caught up in having toys and not doing the primary job. For the 1990's, it had to be near real time. I found the Captain was from California and an anti-gun liberal and supported the 1994 AW ban.

A Bren gun is something I'd really like to fire, the development of LMGs from WW1 to the modern era is pretty interesting.

Damn well i guess its not entirely unobtainable, but i would really like an aics arctic warfare chassis sniper rifle. With a nice scope. I would love that. Full auto doesn't really entice me, more of something i just want to do once or twice. Between it being one of the most accurate chassis ever made, hitting what im aiming at from over a km away and me being a massive nerd and being able to say hey i own that gun when im playing a video game. It would just make me happy.
Unobtainable, probably a blaster rifle like from star wars. The death troopers snipers from rogue one are modeled after an mg42. Conversion to laser cells maybe???
