Anyone ever have issues with the electronic combo pad? Mine kept beeping an blinking orange light. I put a new battery in and it continues to beep. Not sure what else to do

Exactly, it’s highly recommended to use the best battery that you can and Not the cheap ones. No lithium battery either. The boards in those pads are not designed for a lithium battery.

Right. Additionally, when the EMP hits it might be an issue opening an electric locked safe. But, then again I like crank windows in my cars...

Right , I never bought into the electronic lock craze. All my safes are mechanical combination locks.
