What if there was a school where "troubled teens" could go? What if, in the name of social justice and equity, metal detectors were removed and police officers replaced by crisis counselors? There couldn't possibly be a shooting there, right? And if there were the media would make this just as big a story as any other school shooting amirite? Of course not.

I did actually hear about this on the news twice yesterday and again this morning on my way to work. I will agree though that they won’t give it the attention that they do other school shootings.
