They always use situations like this as examples to pass more gun control laws and justify government overreach. Stories like this tug at people heartstrings. This is why you don’t hear about 90% of the shooting details no one cares for the MS13 gang member that was shot or the person who shot themselves for the suicide. People care about innocent victims, women, and children. That’s the example.
