Anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced .22lr upper for an AR

Palmetto state armory seems to have good ones reasonably priced and everyone else seems to be $500 for just the upper. That’s seems crazy to me. Unfortunately PSA has been out for months. Any thoughts? I build my entire last gun for around $500-$600 so paying $500 for just an upper seems wrong to me.
Bear creek arsenal gets horrible reviews so I do not want to bother with them. Lots of jams and stoppages from what I have heard.

I picked one of those up a couple weeks ago.

Initially it was being finicky, I couldn't get through
a mag without a misfire, but then I cleaned and lubed it with some Lucas gun oil and it hasn't missed a round yet.

Thanks. I think that’s the upper I’m going with. I want it fairly light so I don’t need the 15” upper. I had never heard of them so I wanted to be sure they were a good company with some reliability.

I bought the 12” railed upper, rock River arms 3.5# trigger LPK, and one 10 round magazine with extended takedown pins for stupid compliance. I also bought the mission first minimalist stock and buffer kit for $59.00. I thought for a stock and buffer kit that was cheap. All in about $600. More than I wanted to spend but it won’t get any easier so I just bought it. I don’t really care since I have plenty to spend and it’s for my kids to have fun with.

I read a few forums and they seem to get as much praise as CMMG. Thanks again and I’m looking forward to getting it. Should be fun and my youngest seems excited and so does my wife. Now if we can only get rid of the stupid mag locks someday and the safe act prohibitions.
