Mayor Byron Brown announced that the City of Buffalo has filed a lawsuit against various gun manufacturers, distributors and gun dealers. Thesuit leans on how the guns are marketed and blames the city's violent crime on the parties named in the lawsuit. Brown also says "This isn't about legal gun ownership".

There are so many contradictions in that article alone it’s not even funny.
2018-2019 gun stats were ok but they rose 2019-2020 and are now dropping again. So let me ask how is the gun manufacturers marketing contributing to this? I have never seen a gun maker market a firearm to a gang member or drug dealer.
They then say how much the ghost guns have risen and contributed to gun crimes and yet none of these makers make ghost guns right?
I do have to say I’m pleased to see the large players that supply cops and municipalities with their weapons. If they were smart they would say we won’t sell you guns anymore. That would make me buy a Glock just for support.

I'm pretty sure glock doesn't advertise how good their guns are for dive by shootings or market them as desirable for crime.

The elected in NY State and the black residents of the city. Look up the stats, 92% of all killing/shootings in the city are done by people of one group. This article is a year old, year after year, the numbers stay the same.

They have a plan. They also have unlimited resources. There’s only so many battles we can fight. It takes millions in legal fees to fight all this and they know we can only fight so long. What I’m about to say may not be well received but it’s real- Unless there is a major shift in public opinion, they will eventually win.
