The Indian reservation next to me has at least 20 shops that sell weed. I don't know if the shops on the reservations have to be licensed by the state or not. I wouldn't think so considering the Indian reservations are considered Sovereign Nations and all that.
In the past Pataki and Cuomo both have used their personal army of purple ties to invade the reservations. So considering Hochul the Horrible's tyranny and lawlessness. I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't do the same and then create another shitstorm with the tribe.
I don't smoke weed, but I do support freedom.

I'm no genius, and I have no desire to smoke weed, but I'm pretty sure this wouldn't be an issue if the state actually made it legal and treated it (and taxed it) like any other product available at a store.

Its worse than you know. The farm across the road from me has had a grow license since this all started. They have 1400 lbs they have been sitting on since last falls harvest because the state hasnt set up a way for them to sell to the distributors yet. So I asked her today, how are the legal shops in NYC getting their supplies, since it cant be transported across state lines and the NY growers cant sell yet. They are buying from the city. Where do you suppose the city gets it? When they confiscate it from illegal shops and other arrests it gets resold to the legal shops, which by the way are the shops that got expedited preferential licenses first because they have prior marijuana convictions. No wonder they never completely shut the illegal shops, they raid them, and they are back in business the next day, even the one right across the street from city hall.What a fuckin cluster fuck.
