Iran doesn't have a delivery mechanism that could accomplish that. They are likely to have a nuke now, since Biden finished the help that Obama gave them in that department. But a nuke isn't an EMP until it's detonated at the right altitude.
Pretty sure Iran getting a nuke on a suborbital trajectory over the continental US is just beyond their capabilities.
So, the risk is zero now, and it was zero before, so that means it is unchanged.

According to FOX, tonight shitzpantz spoke with Bebe Netanyahu. Really, I don't understand how that could be true. Biden can hardly complete a sentence or two without a cheat sheet. And even then he fucks it up. How could he possibly carry on an intelligent, or intelligible conversation with Netanyahu about the Iranian attack? There must be someone at the Whitehouse that's able to mimic the sound of Bidens voice. Iranian flight tests of their Shahab-3 medium-range missile
that can reach Israel and U.S. forces in the Persian Gulf have
in recent years involved several explosions at high altitude,
reportedly triggered by a self-destruct mechanism on the
missile. The Western press has described these flight tests as
failures because the missiles did not complete their ballistic
trajectories. Iran has officially described all of these same
tests as successful. The flight tests would be successful if
Iran were practicing the execution of an EMP attack.

terrorists, the capability to perform an EMP attack against the

Was reading an article a few years back talking about the possibility of a ship based missal off the coast being able to deliver an emp from them since they don’t have the ability to do it from within their own borders. A simple cargo ship with a basic launcher hidden among the containers.

Iran has the capability to launch an unconventional EMP attack.
They very likely are an unofficial nuclear power. They have ballistic missiles.
They might not have intercontinental ICBMs but they might not need to. They can use medium range ballistic missiles in a "club K " type of launcher as a delivery method launched from a commercial vessel.
Think outside the box. It's the same failure that led assholes with box cutters to change the world.
Think of if you were Iran what would you do to level the playing field.
Launch a few coordinated offshore medium range ballistic missile EMPS from off the Atlantic, Gulf, Caribbean, Pacific from commerical ships and then scuttle them. It would be the black swan lightning bolt out of the blue

Id bet that if Iran doesn't have a nuke, it has the persecutors to obtain one quickly . They have been running Nuclear power sites since we built it for them in the 60's or 70's. Pakistan offered to give them nukes in an event of a war with Israel too. Then there's the black market , where hundreds of Nukes went missing from the collapse of the soviet union .
