LOL, every time you go out of state, buy a box of ammo and bring it home. Sales of ammo in Pa are going to sky rocket.
I think in Mass, and Conn, you need a FOID card to buy ammo. I went to buy a box of 410 ammo in Conn, and my BIL bought it for me. The dealer didn't give a shit that it was a "straw purchase"
So if you know someone in Conn or Mass, have them buy buy it for you, and you're GTG

I'm sure there's law on straw purchasing of firearms... Haven't read any on ammunition. But then again, not paying much attention for two reasons.

First is I have plenty of ammo for the Zombie apocalypse, lol.

Second is because Out Of State!!! My time spent here now is minimal and only to set up the sale of my home. I will most definitely be <180 day threshold for domicile, so Fuck NY and all its bullshit!

As I've said before, I'm not sure why anyone would buy a single box of ammo in this State! Tax rebellion, call it whatever you like. I know it's impossible for some, especially those who compete, but still... Only way to hurt those up there in their high seats is in the pocket... Deny them $ to spend on more enforcement of ridiculous laws designed to do nothing but inhibit 2A activity...

New York passed Legislation shifting Dealers from calling the FBI National Instant Background Check System, to utilizing a Computer system administered by a Private Company in Austin Texas that collects all the 4473 data AND demands your SS#, (optional when using NICS) Your NYS Client ID number (Drivers Licenses/Gov. ID) Your Occupation, e-mail address, Phone number, and the Make, Model, Serial Number, Caliber, etc.
This information, (sans that demanded by the State) was retained only by the FFL until 20 years, they go out of Business and send Records to ATF, or there's an investigation requiring a warrant.
Under this Third Party administered system that Dealers are charged $9.00 for each access, all the additional information from the 4473 and what they demand is Data Based where the NYSP (and other Law Enforcement Agencies) can query at any time your name/numbers/gun SN# /et.al and KNOW via "Registration" what guns you have transferred since 9/13/23
Ammunition is essentially the same, except it's $2.50 Dealer cost per access, only asks for the Caliber, Make, "Serial number" (yea, that's what they ask for, so "Lot Number" is used if there is one) quantity, etc. and the Check is run through a yet to be disclosed BGC system as it's unlawful and impossible to use the FBI/NICS for Ammunition and or "Non-Guns" such as Black Powder and Air Guns.

Things like "31 States allowing Private Sales", SCOTUS Rules, and the Constitution mean precisely Jack Shitt to the New York Legislature and cunt we call Governor.

As I've posted before too, maybe some industrial 2A supporter, would say, buy some land in a free state and create a commune, one that Firearm owners of NY could join and provide residency in the interest of their 2A activities. All their firearm purchases could be associated with this address and location and you could then transport your own firearms back home to NY when you feel like it. With NY even supporting Tiny Homes now, the commune on 100 acres could have a thousand homes easily, and time shared doesn't dismiss residency, they couldn't argue it being a problem... Just get your mail there, register you car, get a DL there, no biggie, just beat the system! Could have trader weekends where private sales rule the day! Think Old 1960’s Catskill Mountain type retreats, pools, barbeques, music, and guns guns guns! Tell you what... But NY does not control activity beyond it's borders and that's the point! There are ways to get around the bullshit, but it all depends if anyone even wants to exert the effort. Other than bitching about all the bullshit they're put through.

I've had a few firearms on my "want" list, that too I've waited until vacating NY to purchase rather than give them the luxury to torture me here. I'll spend my $ elsewhere now. And glad I did, because the bar is raised where I've gone, SBR, HC Mags, ClassIII, etc., ALL ok to own, possess and enjoy!

NY is going to have huge problems in the judicial, justifying their protestations when a majority of States allow free expression of 2A Rights and exercise thereof, and DO NOT have any of the issues NY continually uses as manufactured dilemmas of a Wild West and criminals run amok with guns as justification to deny Rights. That (Wild West Shit) is now only happening because of the Bail Reform and not gun laws per say.

The judge who issued this ruling is Frank P. Gerace,- a senior status bought and paid for maroon in Rochester. He based his ruling on a single Virginia colony law that discriminated against Catholics. That was good enough for him. All of those other rulings,- including Heller, McDonald, and Bruen don’t apply whatsoever as far as he is concerned.

IMHO, he is yet one more despicable cocksucker not following the Constitution and SCOTUS. Another infringing POS.
