Ukraine is losing ground everywhere and the situation is starting to look desperate to any impartial observer. Knowing Ukraine is at risk of being over run, most NATO countries donating weapons has now given the green light to use their donated weapons to strike within Russia. I think only the US has not given permission. More nato countries just in the past 2-3 days have given the ok to do so.
F16s are said to be delivered very soon.
Russia knows that NATO is getting way too cute trying to toe the red line that NATO is doing everything now except "pushing the buttons" but they are equipping, enabling, supporting, targeting and providing Intel for Ukraine. Ukraine is literally just supplying the body to push the fire button.
Putin has announced they are taking mobilization another step farther and is committed another 200k troops to Ukraine and telling Russian citizens and workers to all work and produce like you are being mobilized on the front lines.
I think we're really close to the point where Russia gets sick of this shit and starts to hit NATO logistics and distribution hubs in eastern Poland that are being used as staging points to hit Ukraine. That will likely give NATO justification to declare a no fly zone over western Ukraine or something.
I really think the next couple weeks it's about to go to the next level of intensity. I think NATO is getting a little desperate knowing Ukraine is falling and Russia is getting sick of NATO killing Russians and assisting to target Russian infrastructure.
Just recently 2 long range over the horizon missile warning radar stations have been knocked out. Russia is likely feeling nervous and vulnerable that they are not as prepared and protected as they should be their national icbm defenses have been significantly degraded.

These long range missiles and drones are already operated by NATO forces, they just pretend to be volunteers. As more and more of their coffins are coming home, it's becoming harder to cover up NATO troops involvement. Thus the threats by the West to move to what is already going on. I am sure Russia has a plan, most of their troops are still on stand by. Kharkov was not the major offensive.
BTW, Germany quickly backpaddled after mysterious fire destroyed one of their munitions factories. There are communications behind the scene between NATO and Russian Military, which are not made public.

I legit just posted this morning that the US was the only remaining NATO county that had yet to approve this. Well, go re read my post because I definitely think this is going to setup a collision course where Russia strikes NATO staging grounds and nato then declares a no fly zone which essentially turns into a defacto state of war.

On paper it looks like NATO has a lot of good numbers but in reality I don't believe NATO has enough actual equipment and men to unite to fight Russia.
Take this hypothetical example, say Russia decides to go after the Baltics when they are done with Ukraine. Countries like Britain and Germany might each send a small expeditionary force of a couple thousand troops each, some helicopters, some armor some artillery. That might each amount to 30% of their combat capable forces. They would likely hold the rest back for protection of the home country.
I think most of NATO is like this where a good analogy would be NATO the sum of the parts is less than the whole. They each end up not being very impressive.
Finland, Sweden and Poland likely have the most capable military forces in western Europe and I'm not so sure they are willing to deploy their forces to another country and leave themselves wide open.
