Political hit piece. Anonymously sourced people were used for the article. People who were present went on the record in the article saying trump never uttered that statement. On the face of it it's bullshit.

The Maoists are always saying Trump is Hitler...so why would he give them any ammunition?

He may have a big mouth, but the man isn't a moron, far from it.

Besides, many of Hitler's generals were pretty good (Rommel for one), and most were Wehrmacht, and not necessarily "party members".

Now, a Waffen SS general would an entirely different case.

This is the problem with Trump and he can’t keep his mouth shut. He has been pegged a racist, fascist and whatever else they say. Many believe he’s a racist so why does he say crap like this? When I hear this I hear he wants generals that will do whatever he asks without question. This is t a good thing and his statement could be taken wrong 100 different ways. I’m sure he just meant good fighting generals but look what we’re dealing with here. This will hurt him.

He’s not stronger than ever Kamala is weaker than she was. The policy and not answering questions is coming home to roost and black folks are figuring out the dems lied and don’t really care about them.
Trumps base is strong but to secure a win he needs to reach outside of his base and get a few more independents. Oh and Trump is up by 1% now instead of trailing 1-3%. Sorry but that’s all in polling and the margin of error. Trump needs to stick to the facts and hit her on the economy, affordability, and being able to choose not say stuff like I need Nazi like generals. How could this help him?

I am goddamn tired of the Liberal Progressive Democrats always calling Trump "Hitler." This is vile on many levels. Trump aside, it belittles the horror and human tragedy of the Holocaust by comparing a disfavored politician to an evil white supremacist who sought to exterminate entire races and rule the world. When someone says, "Trump is Hitler," I am compelled to question them. I've asked:
  • Where are the human liquidation camps set up by Trump?
  • Where are the mass graves of "useless" women and children that Trump executed because they were not worth feeding in labor camps?
  • Where are the laboratories that perform barbaric human experimentation set up by the Trump administration?
  • Where are the American armies using force to keep control of militarily conquered formerly-sovereign nations?
  • Are you merely academically dishonest with your statements or are you a certified moron?
The Liberal Progressive candidate, who:
  • Dropped out of her run for the presidency in 2020
  • Received zero primary votes in 2024
  • Insists on limiting free speech
  • Seeks to ban civilian firearms ownership
  • Opened America's borders to facilitate an invasion
Regularly accuses Trump of being a threat to democracy.

We live in bizarre times. There IS an enemy within (after all, the Democrats were Fabian socialists).

If he said that, he was talking about how the military leaders undermined him.
Where as Hitler had leaders who tried to kill him, so words have meanings but context adds clarification.
