My company is a big user of aluminum. I'm under contract on many jobs and would have to hope for a sympathetic ear and a change order to overcome that kind of an increase. I understand the need and I stand behind Trump and the cause, but this could be a death blow. Especially after 4 years of trying to survive Biden's anti-small business crap and Horchul's maniacal hate filled commie agenda.

BREAKING: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has signed a new memorandum renaming Fort Liberty in North Carolina to Fort Roland L. Bragg.

Hegseth signed the memo shortly before landing in Stuttgart, Germany aboard a U.S. Air Force C-17.

The name Fort Bragg is coming back, but with a twist. It will not be named after the former Confederate general. Instead, the new name pays tribute to Pfc. Roland L. Bragg, a World War II hero who earned the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his exceptional courage during the Battle of the Bulge.

Has anyone checked to see if Pfc Bragg is a descendant from the confederate general ?

I think this would be even better if he was :)

Shitcan the whole operation. Let the states handle their own emergencies, with financial support from the Federal as needed. There is no call for yet another unaccountable alphabet agency to squander resources and try to run operations poorly or in a politically motivated manner (see, NC disaster response).
