Many of the EO will end up in court and they will scream about democracy, how Trump is a tyrant and a Nazi while they win a few challenges.
Remember how Obama expanded DACA through an EO and when Trump tried to get rid of that EO the courts said no.

Oh, they will fight tooth and nail for sure.

This is an existential crisis for the deep state and there is *nothing* they won't try to save it.

But, if you make the abuse so egregious and punish then badly enough, then they will demand curbs on the power.

And those court cases they win ? Those *are* the precedent that curtails the power of the EO.
