While I have said it for a long time, I have the same concern that the CIA will take him out when they see fit. It wont be because of a buyout. A buyout doesnt "put people out of work", it is an incentive to get people to take an early retirement and is welcomed by employees in a position to take it.

It's funny to watch the Dems having their meltdowns. It is rich when they say "We aren't going to take it and we will fight Trump and Elan." I still don't think they have made the connection that the majority of the country (based on election results) is with their agenda since he won the electoral college, popular vote and he campaigned on the very things he is doing. From time to time, administration to administration, the Government has been known to do a "RIF" (reduction in force) it can be soldiers, civilians, or anyone else: usually there's a "buy out" offered following a warning that these changes are coming, giving career employees opportunity to apply for Retirement (if qualified) or placement in other positions (if qualified)
I expect many not in the know are thinking this is a total shut down or elimination of Agencies, but it's not...even USAID is keeping some personnel in place, but the smart ones already updated their resume.
