I never thought about it either. Then he mentioned it. To be honest I never liked horizontal shoulder holsters much because they sweep people all the time. Cops have had them on in front of me in line and it makes me uneasy. I don't like a any gun pointed at my vitals (holstered or not). I won't appendix carry because of that. My friend won't carry his glock with one in the pipe because it's at his two year olds head level. My little guy is 18 months old. I'm 6'2 and when he's under my side it's pointed right at his head. Well when he's behind me (cant). It kind of bothered me after he mentioned it. I now carry in a vertical rig and I try to keep him on the other side of me. I don't carry at home anymore because he's always rough housing and it gets in the way honestly. It's one of those things I never thought about until some clown brought it up haha.
I'm with you Doc. I've never given any thought to sweeping someone with a holstered firearm. My kids will lay with me on the couch all the time on my gun side, and it's never anything that I was worried about.

All kidding aside where in the safety rules does it say always keep a firearm pointed in a safe direction (unless it's holstered)? I carry a mans gun (with a hammer) so I'm good and safe to carry loaded properly.
If a holster does not completely cover the entire trigger guard area and make it impossible to pull the bang switch, then it's a useless piece of shit holster.
Mine did cover the trigger guard 100% there was just a gap wide enough for a finger (or other things) to get into. I don't have any clue what kind of holster someone else has. That's why I don't like looking at a loaded gun in a shoulder rig. It could be a $20 POS for all I know. My trust in other people is so high I look both ways when crossing a one way street.

I don't disagree with you on not trusting other peoples gear.
It's also a hassle having it on at home now. I have a couple of these in the house and another like it in the bedroom.
That right there would be a red flag for me. My kydex holsters fit like a glove and there is NOTHING getting to the trigger while holstered.
Not sure if that is a serious post? I won't carry a light bearing holster anymore. Unless it's on my shield with my TRL6. That's a simply rugged rig that works great.
I had the same issue with my N82 Pro for a while. I loctited the screw and cranked it down. Haven't had an issue since. And I have no worries what-so-ever of anything pulling the trigger inadvertently while holstered.
